Catechist Retreat

The Catechist Retreat is a one day event. It will be held on Friday, August 28^th, and then repeated again on Saturday, August 29^th. To register, fill out the online form below.
Come away for a day of retreat at Maryvale, Valley City. You have a choice of either Friday, Aug 28 or Saturday, Aug 29, 2026. The theme this year is Bishop Folda’s Pastoral Letter, “Go, Make Disciples”.
These retreats are primarily for those involved in catechesis, however, all are welcome.
There will be time for silent reflection, Mass, lunch, sharing and a chance to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. All participants are asked to bring their bible. It will be helpful to bring along pen and paper to journal with and a bible. Registration deadline is Friday, Aug 14.
The retreats will be held at Maryvale Retreat Center, Valley City (a map is given below).
