Come away for a day of retreat at Maryvale, Valley City. You have a choice of either Friday, Aug 28 or Saturday, Aug 29, 2026. The theme this year is based off of Bishop Folda's pastoral letter - "Go, Make Disciples"
These retreats are primarily for those involved in catechesis, however, all are welcome.
There will be time for silent reflection, Mass, lunch, sharing and a chance to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. All participants are asked to bring their bible. It will be helpful to bring along pen and paper to journal with and a bible. Registration deadline is Friday, Aug 14.
The “Mass for God’s Children” is a Memorial Mass for children who have died before baptism and is offered to families as a way to remember and celebrate the lives of children who have been lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant or young child death. A memorial rose and naming card will be provided for families who have lost a child. Please register if you would like to attend and/or if you would like to memorialized a beloved child.
