Mount St. Mary Seminary - Emmitsburg, MD
Logan is a native of Rosemount, MN. He grew up in a Lutheran household where he received a foundation of belief in our Lord that continued into his college years at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). During his time at MSUM, Logan’s faith was deepened while participating in a Protestant campus ministry. Through the authentic witness of his Catholic roommate and theological scrutiny, he grew interested in the Catholic faith. After graduating from MSUM with a B.S. in Accounting, Logan began a 6-year career in tax accounting, during which he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
At the age of 24, Logan would enter the OCIA program at Sts. Anne and Joachim Church in Fargo, ND, and was confirmed at the Easter Vigil on March 30, 2024. Through early involvement in several ministries, including The Fisherman and Young Disciples, Logan developed a passion for serving the Church. In a deepening devotion to the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, Logan received his initial call to the priesthood in November of 2024. Having formed a devotion to the Blessed Mother, Logan began to pray for her to intercede on his behalf for clarity in his vocational call.
In December of 2025, clarity came after he visited Saint Paul Seminary. Logan felt deeply drawn to the Lord’s invitation to seminary formation, with a passion to inspire greater devotion to the Eucharist and a deep love for the sacraments. On January 28, 2026, on the feast day of the angelic doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas, Logan was accepted as a seminarian for the Diocese of Fargo. Logan is humbled to be called to formation in this Diocese and reflects often upon the words of St. Thomas Aquinas, “Non nisi te, Domine” (Nothing but you, O Lord).
