On November 29, 2025, Pope Leo XIV and representatives from other Christian Churches around the world, meet in Turkey to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea. After a time of mutual prayer and reflection, Pope Leo concluded the meeting by inviting everyone to reconvene in Jerusalem in the year 2033 to celebrate what he called a “Jubilee of Redemption”,—the 2,000th anniversary of the Paschal Mystery!
